I have my own poker forum with forumotion. I have a topic called "Friends of Forum" and I have OnlinePokerAds.net listed on there. So, I hope it gets a couple more members to join. Good luck with the forum Admin. And like I said before, I know ALOT about forumotion. So, if there is anything you ever need help with, just ask me and I'll probably know how to do it.

I checked out your forum and it looks pretty nice but I do have one suggestion for you on the portal page. The banners that you have up aren't lined up so if you add a <center> tag before the AP and UB banners they will all line up and I think it would look better, just be sure to use the </center> tag at the end of each html code.

An anchor text is the text that will link to your site. Heres a quick example, Online Poker it's just the word Online Poker linking to Onlinepokerads.net.

Search engines keep track of what anchor texts are used when linking to your site so you just want to put something relavent to your site like poker forum or something like that.
